Gopal Chowdhury

The artist is a highly accomplished individual with a DVA in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kolkata, obtained with first-class distinction in 1993. Their participation in numerous prestigious exhibitions and art events showcases their dedication and talent. They have participated in the Academy Visuals Arts Annual Exhibition at AFA, Kolkata, from 1990 to 1992, as well as the All India Fine Arts Annual Exhibition in Kolkata in 1993. The artist has also been part of various exhibitions such as the Annual Exhibition by Barisha Silpara Art Society in Kolkata from 1983 to 2003, Calcutta Information Centre in 1995, 9th Rashtriya Kala Mela in Kolkata in 1996, and the 10th Rashtriya Kala Mela in Delhi in 1997. Their artwork has been showcased in notable events like ‘E’ Per Bangla ‘O’ Per Bangla Utsav in 1998, Charukala Utsav organized by Information Centre in Kolkata in 1998, Poetry on Canvas organized by RAD in 1999, and the Kala Ghora Festival in Mumbai in 2000. The artist has also exhibited at esteemed venues such as Birla Academy of Fine Art & Culture in Kolkata from 1999 to 2010, Rabindra Bhavan organized by Krishna’s Collection in Delhi in 2002, and the Emami Chesel Exhibition in 2012.
